What do the free modules cover?
Each free module is the real opening of its course, not a trailer cut from it. You read the same lessons a paying member reads and do the same first exercises.
Can I learn Claude with a free Claude account?
For some courses, yes: each course below says whether a phone and a free claude.ai account are enough. Claude Code and Claude Cowork need a paid Claude plan from Anthropic, so the courses built on them need one too.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Every course starts from zero, and the Claude Code course teaches the terminal in its first module, before it asks you to type anything into one.
Are these courses made by Anthropic?
No. FirstPrompt is independent of Anthropic, which makes Claude and publishes free courses of its own, mostly for developers and teams.
