    Where things are in Claude

    • CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
    • /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
    • Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
  2. 01
Once for the whole company: your Microsoft admin approves Claude's Microsoft 365 connector and turns on its write tools, so Claude can save drafts and files. If connecting asks for an admin's approval, this is still to do: send them this step.
  3. 02
Through the month, collect news, notes and photos in a OneDrive folder called Newsletter, next to last month's issue.
  4. 03
Connect Microsoft 365 (for OneDrive and SharePoint) under CustomizeConnectors.
  5. 04
At the end of the month, paste the prompt into Cowork. Edit the draft, then send it from your newsletter tool as usual.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
  1. 1
Draft this month's customer newsletter from the notes and photos in my "Newsletter" folder.
  2. 2
  3. 3
    1. Pick the three to five items customers will care about most: new products, improvements, trade fairs, delivery or service news.
  4. 4
    2. Write it as a new Word document in the same folder: three subject line options, a two-line opening, one short section per item ending with what the reader can do next, and a closing line. Follow the tone of last month's issue in the folder.
  5. 5
    3. List the photo each section needs, from the folder where there is one.
  6. 6
  7. 7
Do not invent figures, dates or customer names that are not in the material. Write [CHECK: what] where something is unclear. Do not send anything.
What you get
A newsletter draft with three subject lines, ready to paste into your newsletter tool.
