- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Each month, save the department reports and the month's figures in a Drive folder called Board, next to last month's summary.
- Connect Google Drive under CustomizeConnectors.
- Type /schedule, paste this workflow's prompt and pick Manual. Run it once the month's reports are in, and check the marked numbers before it goes to the board.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Read this month's reports in my "Board" folder and last month's board summary.
- Write this month's summary as a one-page Google Doc in the same folder:
- 1. Three lines: how the month went and the one thing the board must know.
- 2. The key numbers against plan and last month: revenue, margin, cash, order intake, on-time delivery, and any others last month's summary used.
- 3. Two or three things that went well and two or three that did not, each with the report it comes from.
- 4. Risks for the next three months, and the decisions we need from the board, each with a recommendation.
- Use only what is in the reports. If two reports give different numbers, mark both instead of choosing one.
If your company keeps company financials out of AISafe version
The finance reports stay out of the folder, and every financial figure is left as a [FINANCE] gap for you or your finance lead to fill. The rest comes from the other reports.
What you get
A one-page summary with every point traced to its report, and the numbers that disagree marked.
