The prompt
- Draft a supplier corrective action request from the incoming inspection result I gave you.
- 1. State the reject: part number, the supplier's batch or delivery note, quantities received, checked and rejected, and each nonconforming characteristic with its required value and what we measured.
- 2. Ask for containment within 24 hours: sorting of stock at their plant, in transit and at ours, and how they will mark the parts they have checked.
- 3. Ask for an 8D within 10 working days, with the root cause both for why it happened and why it was not caught.
- 4. Add the cost we will recover and the claim reference, from the reject record.
- 5. Write it in my email, in the language of our last email with this supplier. Save it as a draft. Do not send.
If your company keeps technical drawings and prices out of AISafe version
Reads the inspection report without drawings or costs, names each characteristic by its number on that report, and leaves every cost for you to add.
What you get
A corrective action request in your drafts, with the reject facts, deadlines for containment and the 8D, and the cost to recover left for you.
