Turn audit findings into an action list with owners
Give Claude the audit report, internal, customer or certification. It turns every finding into an action with a suggested owner and due date, with the biggest findings first.

Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Once for the whole company: your Microsoft admin approves Claude's Microsoft 365 connector and turns on its write tools, so Claude can save drafts and files. If connecting asks for an admin's approval, this is still to do: send them this step.
- Put the audit report in a OneDrive folder called Audits, with a short list of who owns which area.
- Connect Microsoft 365 under CustomizeConnectors (for OneDrive and SharePoint), open Cowork and paste the prompt.
- Agree each owner and date with the person before you send the list round.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Read the audit report in my "Audits" folder and the list of area owners next to it.
- Make a new Excel file in the same folder with one row per finding: finding number, clause or requirement, the finding in one line, its grade (major, minor or observation), a corrective action that answers the cause and not only the symptom, a suggested owner from the area list, a due date that fits its grade, and the evidence that will show it is closed.
- Put majors first, then minors, then observations. Where the report does not say enough to choose an action, write [ASK THE AUDITOR: what] instead of guessing.
What you get
An action sheet with one row per finding: its clause, the action, a suggested owner, a due date, and the evidence that will close it.
