Plan and draft next month's posts in one sitting
Claude starts from what you want to sell more of and sets one goal for the month. Then it reads what worked last month, finds the fairs, industry days and holidays coming up, and drafts every post in a dated plan.

Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Once for the whole company: your Microsoft admin approves Claude's Microsoft 365 connector and turns on its write tools, so Claude can save drafts and files. If connecting asks for an admin's approval, this is still to do: send them this step.
- Keep a one-page brief in your Marketing folder: what you sell, to whom, in which countries, and the channels you post on. Save each month's plan and results there too.
- In the last week of the month, ask sales what sells best, what is new and what they want more inquiries for, and add three lines on it to the brief.
- Connect Web search under CustomizeConnectors, and in Cowork connect your Marketing folder in OneDrive or SharePoint (the one synced to this computer).
- Paste the prompt into Cowork. Check the goal and the dates it found, then schedule the posts as you always do. Claude drafts; nothing is posted.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Plan our social media posts for next month, using the brief, last month's plan and its results in my Marketing folder.
- 1. Decide what to push. From the brief's lines on what sells, what is new and what sales want more inquiries for, pick one or two products or messages for the month and set one goal, such as more inquiries for one product line or more visitors to a fair stand. Say which number in next month's results will show whether it worked. If the brief has no such lines, ask me before you plan.
- 2. Note which topics and formats did best last month.
- 3. Search the web for trade fairs, industry days and public holidays next month in the countries in the brief, and link each one to its source.
- 4. Write the plan in a "Post plan" sheet in the same folder: date, channel, topic, the draft text in our usual tone, the photo or video it needs, and whether it serves the month's goal. Two or three posts a week per channel, unless the brief says otherwise, and at least half of them serve the goal. Mark the posts that need a photo from the shop floor.
- Do not invent product facts, offers or prices that are not in the folder. Mark any date you could not confirm instead of guessing. Do not post anything.
What you get
A post plan for the month around one goal: date, channel, topic, draft text and the photo each post needs.
