Turn a client brief into next month's content calendar
Give Claude the client's brief and last month's calendar. It plans the month: dates, platforms, formats and a working idea for every post, spread across the brief's goals.

Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Keep each client's brief and last month's calendar in a Drive folder named after the client.
- Connect Google Drive under CustomizeConnectors.
- When a brief comes in, paste the prompt into Cowork and name the client's folder. Edit the calendar, then share it with the client for approval as usual.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Plan next month's content calendar for the client whose Drive folder I name, from their brief and last month's calendar.
- 1. Sum up the brief's goals, key dates, products and topics to avoid in five lines or fewer, so I can check you read it right.
- 2. Plan the month as a new Google Sheet in the client's folder: date, platform, format (post, carousel, reel or story), a working title, the idea in one sentence, and the goal it serves.
- 3. Keep last month's posting rhythm unless the brief asks for more or less. Spread the goals across the month and put dated events on their dates.
- 4. Under the calendar, list what the brief does not answer that I should ask the client.
- Do not invent product facts, prices, offers or dates that are not in the brief.
What you get
Next month's calendar, one row per post with the goal it serves, and a list of what the brief leaves open to ask the client.
