Understand a formal notice, and prepare the reply for your lawyer

Give Claude a formal notice, a demand letter or a request from someone about their personal data. It explains in plain words what it says and by when, puts the facts from your files in order, and drafts the outline of a reply for your lawyer.

    • /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.

When a formal notice or a data request arrives, make a copy with every person's name, ID number, address, phone number and email address deleted, people written by their role ("a former employee", "the customer's owner"). Put it in a Legal folder inside your Management folder, with the contracts and invoices it is about, cleaned the same way. No staff files.
  3. 02
Connect Google Drive under CustomizeConnectors. Keep this workflow's files in one Drive folder called Management. This version does not need your email.
  4. 03
Open Cowork, paste the prompt and name the copy.
  5. 04
Take the brief and the outline to your lawyer before you answer anything. This is a first read, not legal advice, and nothing goes to the sender from Claude.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
