Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Once for the whole company: your Microsoft admin approves Claude's Microsoft 365 connector and turns on its write tools, so Claude can save drafts and files. If connecting asks for an admin's approval, this is still to do: send them this step.
- Write down the facts in a few lines: what changes, from when, for whom.
- Open Cowork and paste the prompt with your notes.
- Answer the open questions it lists, then send or post it yourself.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Turn my notes below into an announcement for our staff.
- 1. Write the full version as a Word document I can print or share: a headline that says what changes, then what is changing, from when, who it affects, what they need to do, and who to ask. Plain words and short sentences, so everyone on the shop floor reads it the same way.
- 2. Write a version of under 60 words for the notice board.
- 3. List the questions people are likely to ask that my notes do not answer.
- Do not add facts that are not in my notes. Do not send anything.
What you get
A full announcement, a short version, and the questions your notes do not answer yet.
