Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Put your onboarding checklist, a past welcome letter and your induction and safety material in a Drive folder called Onboarding.
- When someone is hired, paste the prompt into Cowork with their role and start date only: no name, pay or contract details.
- Check the pack, fill the marked gaps, including the name, and send the welcome letter yourself.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.

- 1. A welcome letter in our usual tone: start time, where to go, who meets them, what to bring.
- 2. A first-week schedule, day by day: induction, safety training, time with their manager and team, and a first real task.
- 3. A checklist for us, each item with an owner and a date: equipment, accounts, protective gear, documents to collect, introductions.
- Taken out by a company rule: Where a detail is not in the files, write [TO FILL: what is missing] instead of guessing. Do not send anything.Write [NEW STARTER] wherever their name goes and [MANAGER] for their manager.
