Turn a hiring manager's notes into a job ad the right people answer
Give Claude the manager's notes and your last good ad. It writes the new one in your structure, keeps must-haves apart from nice-to-haves, and marks what is missing.

Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Keep one job ad you were happy with in a Drive folder called Job ads.
- When a role opens, paste the prompt into Cowork with the hiring manager's notes.
- Fill the marked gaps, agree the requirements with the hiring manager, then post it where you always do.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Write a job ad from the hiring manager's notes below.
- Use the tone and structure of the ad in my Job ads folder. Write it as a new Google Doc in the same folder: the role in two sentences, what the person does in a normal week, must-have requirements (five at most) kept apart from nice-to-haves, what we offer, and how to apply. Then add a version of under 300 characters for job boards.
- Where the notes leave out something a candidate needs to know, such as shift pattern, location, contract type or pay range, write [TO FILL: what is missing] instead of guessing. Flag any requirement the job does not really need that could put good people off.
What you get
A job ad and a short version for job boards, with every missing detail marked [TO FILL].
