Draft a technical question to a supplier from the spec
Tell Claude what you need to know. It finds the clauses of the spec behind your question and drafts a clear email the supplier's engineer can answer in one reply.

The prompt
- Draft a technical question to our supplier about the specification I gave you. My question is under this prompt.
- 1. Find the clauses of the specification my question depends on, and quote their numbers.
- 2. Draft one email to the supplier, in the language of our last email with them, with numbered questions they can answer one by one. Say which part number, drawing number and revision each question is about, and what answer we need: a value, a confirmation or a proposal.
- 3. Ask for a reply date that fits our timeline. Keep it short and polite.
- 4. Save it as a draft in my email. Do not send. Under the draft, list anything I should add before it goes.
If your company keeps technical drawings out of AISafe version
Works from the text of the spec, attached without its drawings. Drawings are named by number and revision, never opened, attached or described.
What you get
A draft in your email with numbered questions, each pointing at its clause, and a list of what you still need to add.
