Tailor Every Application
Run it once in Cowork with the Claude in Chrome extension connected and LinkedIn logged in. It sets up the system with you, does one test run that stops before submitting, then you schedule it. From then on Claude applies for you every morning and leaves you a report. Scheduled tasks only run while your computer is awake and the Claude app is open. Keep the daily cap modest: LinkedIn can restrict accounts that apply in bulk.

Example · Input
My CV + Product Manager or Product Owner, Istanbul or remote, no agencies, 10 a day, weekdays at 8am.
Example · Output
A job-autopilot folder (profile, answers, tracker, daily run) and a daily schedule. Each morning: 7 applications sent with a tailored CV and cover letter each, 12 jobs skipped with reasons, 2 questions waiting for you, all logged in a spreadsheet.
You are going to set up and run my job-application autopilot. Every morning you will open LinkedIn in my Chrome, find new jobs that fit me, tailor my CV and write a cover letter for each one, fill in the application and submit it, log everything in a spreadsheet, and leave me a short morning report. You never make up an answer you don't have. You ask me. My details: - My CV: [ATTACH YOUR CV FILE OR PASTE IT] - Roles I want: [e.g. Product Manager, Product Owner] - Locations / remote: [e.g. Istanbul or fully remote] - Seniority: [e.g. mid to senior] - Deal-breakers: [e.g. no agencies, no relocation, no commission-only] - Minimum match score: [70] - Max applications per run: [10] - Run time: [every weekday at 08:00] PART 1: SET UP (do this now, with me) 1. Create a folder called job-autopilot in my working folder, containing: - profile.md: my target roles, locations, seniority, deal-breakers, minimum match score and daily cap. - cv-master.md: my CV as clean text. This is the only source of truth about me. - answers.md: my answers to the questions application forms usually ask. Interview me for these one at a time: phone number, email, city, work authorization and visa sponsorship, notice period or earliest start date, expected salary and currency, years of experience in each of my main skills, languages and level, willingness to relocate, on-site/hybrid/remote preference, highest degree, LinkedIn profile URL, portfolio or website. If I skip one, record it as ASK ME. - applications.csv with the columns: date, company, role, location, link, match score, status, CV file, cover letter file, notes. - questions-for-me.md: empty for now. - daily-run.md: the PART 2 instructions below, copied exactly. - Two empty folders: tailored and reports. 2. Check that Claude in Chrome is connected and that I'm logged in to LinkedIn. If I'm logged out, stop and ask me to log in myself. Never type my password. 3. Do one test run of PART 2 now, but stop before the first Submit and show me the filled form so I can approve how you fill it. 4. Then walk me through the schedule: type /schedule, paste "Open job-autopilot/daily-run.md and follow it exactly.", choose my run time, and save. Remind me that scheduled tasks only run while my computer is awake and the Claude app is open. PART 2: DAILY RUN (this is what daily-run.md contains) 1. Read profile.md, cv-master.md, answers.md and applications.csv. If I have written answers in questions-for-me.md since the last run, move them into answers.md first, then retry the jobs marked Needs you. 2. Open LinkedIn Jobs in Chrome. Search each target role in each location, filtered to Date posted: Past 24 hours and Easy Apply. 3. For every listing that isn't already in applications.csv, open it and read the full description. Score it 0 to 100 against my CV and profile. If it hits a deal-breaker or scores below my minimum, log it as Skipped with a one-line reason. 4. For each match, highest score first, until the daily cap: a. Tailor my CV to this posting using only cv-master.md: reorder, re-emphasize, and mirror the posting's keywords I genuinely have. Never invent a job, title, skill, number or degree. Save it as a PDF in tailored/<company>-<role>. b. Write a cover letter under 200 words: a specific opening line, one proof point from my real experience tied to their main need, and one line on why this company. No clichés. Save it in the same folder. c. Click Easy Apply and fill every field from answers.md and cv-master.md. Upload the tailored CV if the form allows it; otherwise choose the CV I already have saved on LinkedIn and note that in the tracker. Paste the cover letter if there is a field for it. d. If a question's answer is not in answers.md or cv-master.md, do not guess and do not submit. Close the form without submitting, add the exact question with the company and link to questions-for-me.md, and log the job as Needs you. e. If every field came from my files, check the form once more and submit. Log it as Applied. 5. If a listing only has an external Apply button that leaves LinkedIn, don't fill it. Prepare the tailored CV and cover letter anyway and log it as Apply manually, with the link. 6. Stop the run and say so in the report if LinkedIn shows a CAPTCHA or security check, logs me out, or warns about unusual activity. Never solve a CAPTCHA, never change my account settings, never message or connect with anyone, never pay for anything. 7. Write reports/<today's date>.md: the jobs you applied to (company, role, score, link), how many you skipped and the main reasons, the questions waiting for me, and the jobs to apply to manually with their files ready. Keep it short enough to read over coffee.
