Follow up every trade fair contact within a week

After a fair, give Claude the contact sheet and your notes. It looks up each company, drafts a first email that picks up what you talked about at the stand, and writes one more short email for those who do not answer.

    Where things are in Claude

    • CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
    • /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
    • Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
  2. 01
Once for the whole company: your Microsoft admin approves Claude's Microsoft 365 connector and turns on its write tools, so Claude can save drafts and files. If connecting asks for an admin's approval, this is still to do: send them this step.
  3. 02
Put the fair's contacts in one sheet in your Sales folder, one row per company: company, country, language, what you talked about (people by their role, not by name), and anything you promised. Keep names, email addresses and phone numbers in your own list, not in this sheet. Leave prices out.
  4. 03
Connect Microsoft 365 and Web search under CustomizeConnectors, and in Cowork connect your Sales folder in OneDrive or SharePoint (the one synced to this computer).
  5. 04
Open Cowork, paste the prompt and name the sheet.
  6. 05
Add the name and the recipient to each first email, edit it, and send it yourself within the week. A week later, send the second ones to those who stayed quiet. Claude only drafts; you send.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.

    1. For each company, look at its website and write one line on what it makes or sells and where. Mark it "strong" (it buys what we make, or could), "maybe" or "not a fit", with the reason, and name the page you used.

    2. For "strong" and "maybe" contacts, draft a first email in their language, under 120 words: say where we met, pick up what we talked about at the stand, send what we promised or say when it comes, and end with one clear next step (a call, a sample, a quote).
