Where things are in Claude
- CustomizeConnectors In Claude's left sidebar: connect your email and files.
- /schedule Type it in a new Cowork task to run a prompt on a schedule.
- Scheduled In Claude's left sidebar: what runs, to pause or change it.
- Once for the whole company: your Microsoft admin approves Claude's Microsoft 365 connector and turns on its write tools, so Claude can save drafts and files. If connecting asks for an admin's approval, this is still to do: send them this step.
- Keep an Excel file on OneDrive called "Clients and competitors": each client's niche, three to five competitor accounts, and topics to avoid.
- Connect Microsoft 365 under CustomizeConnectors, for OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Type /schedule, paste this workflow's prompt and pick Weekly, Monday at 8:30.
- It runs while your computer is on and Claude is open. A Monday it was off is skipped, not queued.
Set this up on your computer: the Claude desktop app runs it.
The prompt
- Every Monday at 8:30, read the "Clients and competitors" Excel file in my OneDrive. For each client:
- 1. Search the web for what changed last week in the client's niche: trends, formats or topics that took off, and platform changes that matter to them. Give each a source link.
- 2. Look at the public posts the listed competitors published last week. Name the two that did best, with links, and say in one line why they worked.
- 3. Suggest five post ideas for this week that fit the client's voice and avoid their listed topics, each tied to a trend or a competitor post above.
- Write it as one Word document in my OneDrive, one section per client. Use only public information, and write "not found" instead of guessing.
What you get
A roundup per client: the trends worth acting on with their sources, the competitors' standout posts with links, and five post ideas for this week.
