You have the brief. Now the CV — and the goal is narrower than "make it better". You are producing one document for one posting, where the evidence for that role is in the first half of page one.

If you own the Job Hunt Kit pack, this is the lesson its resume prompt was built for. The prompt does the rewriting. This lesson is the judgement around it: what to feed it, and how to tell a good draft from a confident bad one.

Feed it three things

A tailored CV needs all three, and people usually forget the second:

  1. Your current CV. Whatever you have. Rough is fine.
  2. The brief from the last lesson. The must-haves, the exact phrases, the problem sentence.
  3. The truth about your gaps. Your have / partial / do not have marks. Without these the model quietly writes over them.

Run this

Rewrite my CV for one specific role.

Rules:
- Use ONLY what is in my CV. Do not add skills, tools, employers, or results
that are not already there. If something is missing, tell me what to add
  rather than writing it yourself.
- Where I marked "partial", reframe my real experience in their vocabulary.
Do not upgrade partial into a claim of full expertise.
- Mirror their exact wording for tools, metrics, and the job title.
- The first half of page one must carry the evidence for THIS role.
- Every bullet: what I did, how, and the outcome. Include a number wherever my

original had one. Do not invent numbers.
- One column, plain text, no tables.
Then list separately:
(a) every change you made and why,
(b) anything you could not evidence from my CV.
MY CV:
[paste]
THE BRIEF:
[paste your output from the last lesson]
MY GAPS:
[paste your have / partial / do not have list]

You should see

A rewritten CV, then a list of changes, then a list of things it could not evidence. That last list is the most valuable part of the output — it is your honest gap report.

Judge the draft, do not just accept it

Read the "could not evidence" list first. Then read the CV against it. The failure mode is not a bad draft, it is a plausible one: a document that reads well and quietly claims a tool you touched once.

Three checks that catch most of it:

  • The number check. Every figure in the draft should be traceable to your original CV. A number that appeared from nowhere is the model being helpful.
  • The verb check. "Led", "owned", "built" are claims about your scope. If you contributed, the CV should say contributed.
  • The interview check. For each bullet, could you talk for two minutes about how you did it? If not, it is not yours yet.

Anything you cannot defend in an interview is worse than a gap. A gap costs you one role. A claim you cannot back costs you the room.

Cek hasilnya

  • Uses the posting's exact job title and its vocabulary for tools and metrics
  • The first half of page one is evidence for this specific role
  • Every number is traceable to the original CV
  • Nothing marked "do not have it" is now claimed as experience
  • Verbs match real scope: led vs contributed, owned vs supported
  • One column, plain text, no tables or text boxes
  • Every bullet is something you could talk about for two minutes

Now do it once more

Take the second-best posting on your list and repeat the whole thing, from the brief onward. The second one takes about a quarter of the time, and it is where the method stops feeling like a trick and starts feeling like a process.

What you just learned

  • Tailoring needs your CV, the brief, and an honest account of your gaps.
  • Instructing the model to only use what is in your CV is what keeps the draft yours.
  • The "could not evidence" list is the most useful thing in the output.
  • Check numbers, verbs, and whether you could defend each bullet for two minutes.

Next: a short recap, and what the rest of the course adds.
