La anatomía de un anuncio

5 min de lectura·Lección 2 de Mira como un experto en pauta

By the end of this lesson you will be able to break any ad into its four parts, name its weakest one, and you will have done it twice: once on a demo ad, once on one of your six saved ads.

Every ad you have ever seen, from a hand-made story post to a million-dollar campaign, is the same four parts wearing different clothes.

  1. Hook. The thing that earns the stop: the first frame, the first line of on-screen text, the image itself. It has one job and two seconds to do it.
  2. Creative. What the ad actually shows, muted. The video, the photo, the design. Its job is to make the product and the person it is for obvious without sound.
  3. Offer. Not the product, the deal. "Meal plans" is a product; "the Sunday plan, first week free" is an offer. The offer is the reason to act now instead of nodding and scrolling on.
  4. CTA. The call to action: the button and the promise of what happens after the tap. "Learn more" makes no promise. "Get the plan" does.

The weak link rule

An ad performs like its weakest part, not like its average. A brilliant hook on top of a dead offer buys you expensive clicks and no sales; people stop, look, find no reason to act, and leave. A strong offer under an invisible hook never gets seen at all. This is why "make the video better" is usually the wrong fix: the video may already be the strongest link.

So when you look at any ad, including yours, ask the four questions in order:

  1. What made me stop? If the answer is "nothing", the hook failed.
  2. Muted, in two seconds, do I know what this is and who it is for? If not, the creative failed.
  3. What exactly is the deal? If I can only name the product, the offer failed.
  4. Do I know what happens when I tap? If not, the CTA failed.

Run this

You will feed Claude an ad in plain words. Start with the demo below so we all see the same first result, then run it again with one of your saved six.

Pega un anuncio, recibe una crítica

Break this ad into its four parts: HOOK, CREATIVE, OFFER, CTA. Score each part 0-10 and justify each score in one line. Then name the single weakest part and explain in two sentences why the other three cannot compensate for it. THE AD, in my words: - First thing you see: hands cutting one big roasting tray of chicken and vegetables into three lunchboxes - Text on the video: "One tray. Three lunches." - Caption: "The Sunday Hour method: one tray on Sunday becomes three office lunches. Follow @sundayhourfood." - Button: "Learn more" Rules: use only what I typed. If a part is missing from my description, score it 0 and write "not present" instead of inventing it. Do not assume the product is good. One line per justification, no padding.

You should see

Four labeled parts with a 0-10 score and a one-line reason each, then a verdict naming the weakest link. For this demo, expect the hook and creative to score well and the offer and CTA to get caught: "Learn more" promises nothing, and there is no deal anywhere in the ad.

Now swap in one of your saved ads. Describe it in the same four fields: first thing you see, text on the image or video, caption, button. Run the same prompt.

Revísalo

  • All four parts scored, each with a one-line justification
  • Any part your description did not contain scored 0 with "not present", not an invented guess
  • The weakest-link verdict names one part, not "everything could be better"
  • On the demo, Claude caught that the ad has no offer, only a product
  • You ran it a second time on one of your own saved six
Si ves

If every part scores 7 or 8, Claude is being polite, not useful. Add "no two parts may share a score, and at least one score must be below 5 if the ad has a real weakness" and run it again. If Claude cannot find the offer in your saved ad, that is not a failure of the prompt; that is the finding. Most small-business ads are a product photo with no deal attached, which is exactly why they get nods instead of sales.

What you just learned

  • Every ad is hook, creative, offer and CTA; the offer is the deal, not the product.
  • An ad performs like its weakest part, so fix the lowest score first, not the most visible part.
  • The four questions, asked in order, locate the failure: stop, muted clarity, deal, next step.
  • "Score 0 and say not present" keeps Claude from inventing parts the ad does not have.
